Colliers Reports Tight Industrial Market in Columbia, SC

Colliers International reported that the industrial vacancy rate dropped to 5.63% at the end of the 3rd Quarter 2014. The vacancy rate was 6.27% mid-year and 7.12% one year ago. Approximately 250,000 square feet were absorbed in the third quarter.

Jones Lang LaSalle Predicts Strong Growth for Charlotte, Raleigh, Charleston

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is predicting that Charlotte, Raleigh, Charleston and other Sun Belt cities should grow faster than the national market. National market growth is expected to be 3% +/- over the next two years. Charlotte and other cities in the Carolinas will see strong population increases resulting in growth of 4.0% to 4.5%.
